December 2011

Hello Everyone
Welcome to the last bulletin for 2011.  As this year draws to a close it’s time to look back and reflect on the past year.  It has been a huge year for Aminya with the introduction of Ayurveda Aromatherapy Cert IV and Diploma, the advanced Diploma’s of Aromatic Medicine and Integrated Therapies.  Our first group of Ayurveda students and Aromatic Medicine practitioners are looking to graduate in August 2012.
We have two new Aminya Campuses opening in February 2012.  Adelaide under the management of Wendy Norman and Toowoomba under the management of Lyn Slade.  These Campuses will be offering Aromatherapy, Massage and Reflexology.  Farida Irani will continue to offer Ayurveda Aromatherapy courses both in Sydney and on the Sunshine Coast.  Course timetables for Adelaide and Toowoomba for semester (1) will be available shortly, continue to check Aminya website for updates.
Please spread the word out to friends and colleagues who may want to study with us next year.
College will be closed as of Monday 19th December, reopening Monday January 19th.  The office will operate for enquiries and enrolments, Tuesday 9am – 4pm.  Emails will be checked on a regular basis.
We have a couple of workshops scheduled :

• Magical Mandalas workshop with Joan Tan, 10am – 4pm, Thursday 12th January.  Create a Magical Mandala for your healing room or for your client to look at under your massage table.  These are a powerful tool for de-stressing, depression, anxiety, stimulating creativity, problem solving, gaining insight into yourself and so much more.
Cost $120
• Aromatic Chemistry Explained with Deby Atterby, 9am – 3pm, Sunday 5th February.  A one day workshop of chemistry revision.  This workshop will refresh your knowledge and stand you in good stead for Ron Guba’s upcoming week’s course – Advanced Aromatic Blending.  This course is open to anybody wanting a refresher in this subject.
Cost $120
Students wishing to enrol for Ron Guba’s workshop / Advanced Diploma of Aromatic Medicine, “Advanced Aromatic Blending”, will need to have their names down and deposit paid A.S.A.P to ensure their place.  This 5 day block is proving popular.  You will also need to organise accommodation sooner rather than later, this can be done by phoning us here at Head Office.
Wishing all staff and students a happy festive Season
